A 3-5 mile snowshoe hike on flat or slight inclines, overlooking “Little Falls.” Also explore the outside of the lovely Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill. Bring your snowshoes or microspikes depending on snow depth. Wear winter layers, bring 2 liters of water and lunch.

One of the finest hikes along the Mattabasset Trail if not among all the traprock ridge walks of the Connecticut River Valley. Climb steeply to the summit of Chauncey Peak and walk along the brink of a sheer cliff overlooking a pastoral countryside of fields, woods and lakes. 6 moderate miles.

Bike Tour of Scenic North Central CT

Explore and enjoy spring in NY Central Park with a guided one hour tour by the NY Central Park Conservancy staff. Walk straight through the heart of Central Park and enjoy a great variety of its scenic, sculptural, and architectural elements. Expect to walk 5-7 miles in total for the day. Price includes: leader facilitated, round trip train, and park tour.

This 25 mile trail is on flat terrain was built over an abandond railroad that had been constructed in 1887 to connect Boston and Northampton. In 1993 it was developed into a recreational trail, connecting downtown Northampton to the communities of Hadley, Amherst and Belchertown. Our return ride will take us through the streets of UMASS and Amherst College Campus. We will stop for a lunch break at a popular trailside market/deli.

This 20 mile ride starts from the Winslow Place CPL, RT. 10 & 202, 0.2 miles North of RT. 185. The pleasant loop is primarily on flat to rolling terrain over quiet scenic backroads on the countryside overlooking Sugarloaf Mountain on the West side of town. The ride starts and ends on a section of the Farmington Greenway Trail with a side trip to the Bridge of Flowers.

This 30 mile scenic ride is mostly on flat country back road. Starting in South Windsor we proceed over the Bissell Bridge to Windsor, riding North along the Connecticut River with a lunch break at Bart’s on the Farmington River. (You may purchase or bring a lunch). After lunch we will proceed to Windsor Locks and back East of the river riding along some farm land through East Windsor and back through So. Windsor's Historical Old Main St. where you can observe the lovely landscapes.

Hike the Northern Metacomet Trail and visit Old Newgate Prison, Granby CT

This 25 mile ride will start from Town Hall 59 Main St. Hatfield, Ma. We will proceed through the towns of Whately and So. Deerfield over some rolling hills for the first ten miles, and will be mostly flat for the rest of the ride. We will ride through rural and farm areas with several greenhouses bursting with colorful flowers. We will be ending our journey by riding through the beautiful historic Hatfield district. Lunch break will be at a roadside food stand.

Bike Hatfield Between Mount Holyoke and Sugarloaf Range

This flat 30 mile ride starts from the parking lot at the junction of Routes. 10/202 and 315 in Simsbury where we will be riding mostly on the paved bike trail and some back roads. From the parking lot we will follow the bike trail towards Southwick riding by Simsbury airport, some farmland, nurseries and golf course. The return trip will take us through the town of Southwick then toward and around beautiful Lake Congamond where we will be stopping for lunch. You may bring a lunch or you may purchase lunch along the trail.

This is a very beautiful 25  mile ride along quiet country roads with a verdant valley along the wild and Scenic Farmington River. This ride starts in New Hartford, pause in Riverton and at the Goodwin Dam. On the ride back we will allow time to visit the Annual Old Fashion Riverton country fair, the last fair of the season.
