A Cultural Weekend
In the Beautiful Berkshires!

Tucked among the wooded hills, winding roads and charming villages of the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, are world-class festivals and art centers that span the spectrum from cutting edge performance art to Old World Masters. Every summer, the area’s beautiful rural scenery provides a stunning backdrop to this mecca of artistic treasures.

On this cultural journey, we plan to visit many of the areas famous museums and venues for painting, sculpture, literature, crafts, dance and music. These attractions include the Norman Rockwell Museum,
Chesterwood, the Mount, and the Hancock Shaker Village. We will also attend an outdoor performance at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. The highlight of the weekend is a gourmet picnic dinner on the lawn during
a fabulous concert at the Tanglewood Music Festival. (The specific Tanglewood program will be determined in March when the 2018 schedule is published.)

Although this is not a planned hiking weekend, we will take every opportunity to take long walks among the lovely woods and gardens of each attraction.
