With a wonderful network of commuter bike paths and numerous quiet country roads, Quebec City is not just the cradle of French civilization in North America; it is also an outdoor adventure mecca. Bicycle touring in this area is a wonderful experience of old world and new world.
The only fortified city in North America, Québec City has retained its European atmosphere. 17th and 18th-century stone houses and churches, graceful parks, squares, and monuments flank the winding cobbled streets. Québec's cuisine is also one of its treasures and its cafés allow you to soak in the ambiance. Because of its history, beauty, and unique stature, the historic district of Québec was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985.
In the summer, the streets and squares of Québec City are transformed into a giant open-air stage. More than 400 shows are put on by hundreds of artists and performers from all over the world presenting a programs of francophone song, world beat, classical music, new trends, street performances and more.

This adventure will include 10 to 30 miles of moderate biking each morning, a scenic river cruise, a visit to famous Montmorency Falls and a panoramic view of the city from a skyscraper observatory.
